Anime recommendations

Post by Caboov on Sat Apr 07, 2012 11:17 pm

Put anime recommendations here that are pretty new or pretty unpopular and you think are good.

There seems to be a spike in anime made from galgames. Suspect

Nichijou that's something pretty new and I don't think it gets enough attention!

also, has anybody seen Aria the Scarlet Ammo? Is it any good?

The only anime I mainly watch is Yuugiou (Yu-Gi-Oh) I don't think I would have to say much about Yuugiou. Yes I mainly spell Yu-Gi-Oh as Yuugiou.....
Ah moving on

Some anime's I would recommend would be....

Japanese:
English: Card Captor Sakura

Japanese: D・N・A²
English: DNA²
...yeah it's logically the exact same title.

Japanese:
English: Elfen Lied

Japanese:
English: Full Moon Wo Sagashite (Searching For A Full Moon)

Japanese:
English: Grenadier

Japanese: かりん
English: Karin

Japanese:
English: Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl & Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl OVA

Japanese:
English: Kämpfer
* Note: Kämpfer (German word) translates to "Fighter" in English

Japanese:
English: Rumbling Hearts / Kimiga Nozomu Eien

Japanese:
English: Neon Genesis Evangelion

Japanese:
English: Otoboku: Maidens are Falling for Me

Japanese:
English: Princess Princess

Japanese:
English: Ranma ½

Japanese:
English: Shakugan No Shana

Japanese: 涼風
English: Suzuka

Japanese:
English: A Cheeky Angel / Tenshi Na Konamaiki

Japanese:
English: A Certain Scientific Railgun / Toaru Kagaku No Railgun

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT:

Japanese:
English: The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya / Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu

Japanese:
English: The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya / Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu

All of these Anime's I recommended have been completed Anime's.

The only Anime I'm really looking forward to is....

English: Otoboku: Maidens are Falling for Me 2 / Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru: Futari no Elder

Wow really? I started reading that series but dropped it after the first couple of chapters. Maybe the anime will be more interesting.

I've seen these already, they're ok. 7/10 in my opinion.

I've yet to see this, but I've already heard so much about it. dreamy
I'll definitely add this to my "to-watch" list.

I like "A Cheeky Angel" pretty interesting set of characters there. I also have seen "Full Moon wo Sagashite", but it was too much drama for me. I enjoyed most of the stuff on the list smile

There hasn't been many anime this season that I've really liked... I've kind of stopped actively watching the newest anime since I have yet to find one that catches my attention.

Rather than seen, Maoyuu Mao Yuusha is really best when READ,

but there's a fair long gap between where the manga has reached, and where the show is (since it just started this season).

and i prob shouldn't post any anime title to watch in here since all of them are hard scifi or military and are probably not the taste fitting here.

Reading the manga I'm not wanting to take the chance of watching a crappy anime edition of it. Razz

In this season there are some anime to watch: Maoyuu maou yuusha (very good) , Kotoura-san (i laughed so much XD ) Boku wa tomodachi NEXT (who followed the first season must follow this too, and who doesn't must watch it too!)
and then.. initial d 5th stage...
these are my recommendations for now ^^

My personal favourite is Tiger & Bunny. I especially like their take on superheroes. I can't wait to get my hands on the movie...

there are several type of manga with different artists... i follow Ishida Akira Ver. but the anime is from Asami You ver.
however i like it, maybe it could be better with Ishida ver.

Many people are enjoying Free! and Attack on Titan.
My throw-back recommendations are Welcome to the NHK, and Bamboo Blade.
